Q: If I have an issue with my building, how do I get it fixed?
A: Ford Land's Facility Solutions Center provides access 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for tenants to report issues and track their progress from request to completion. Ford Land's Facility Solutions Center is your one-stop resource for all building resources including janitorial, plumbing, lighting, heating/cooling and special requests.

Q: What types of charges can I expect to see on my bill?
A: Generally your bill may include rent, operating expenses, tenant suite electricity, work order charges and/or late fees. Rent and operating expenses are as agreed upon in your lease. Tenant suite electricity is typically paid by Ford Land and billed back to the tenants. Work order charges are for special work completed in your suite that you have pre-authorized Ford Land to complete. Late charges occur as agreed upon in your lease if your bill is not paid in a timely manner.
Q: What do my operating expenses include?
A: Operating expenses may include: taxes, property insurance, management fees, maintenance and engineering, janitorial, grounds, common area utilities, security, pest control, and trash removal.
Q: What other occupancy-related charges can I expect to pay?
A: Tenants pay for their own insurance as required in the lease along with any personal property taxes, phone service, internet, cable TV, and other business operating costs.
Q: What is Ford Land doing to reduce operating expenses while preserving building quality and service?
A: Ford Land is continually looking for ways to cut costs and pass those savings along to our valued tenants. By leveraging our extensive network of strategic partners and alliances, we are able to achieve economies of scale on a wide range of products and services. Examples of cost savings initiatives include offering day time janitorial service in larger office buildings, resulting in significant savings via reduced energy costs and better utilization of staff.
Q: What are some of Ford Land's "green" building initiatives?
A: Ford Land is committed to environmental sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint. Our team of LEED certified engineers and project managers endeavor to make the most efficient use of natural resources. For example, paper, cardboard, light bulb and battery recycling programs are in place with our janitorial and waste management vendors. Temperature guidelines are standardized throughout the portfolio, eliminating over-heating in cool temperatures and over-conditioning in warmer temperatures.
Q: How does Ford Land ensure tenant satisfaction?
A: Ford Land is committed to ensuring the highest level of tenant satisfaction with our buildings and services. Building issues are immediately addressed through Ford Land's Facility Solutions Center which provides 24-hour service. Property Managers are assigned to every tenant and communicate with them regularly to ensure their needs are being met. In addition, Ford Land conducts an annual tenant survey to help improve customer satisfaction.
